In rural areas we have provided design services for resurfacing, repair and rehabilitation (3R) projects for two lane and multi-lane arterials and local roads. Many of these projects have included the widening and increase in capacity of these facilities. In urban areas we have worked with various communities to extend the service life and increase capacity of major urban arterials.

Urban settings have a unique complexity requiring context sensitive designs for the promotion of “Livable Communities”. In today’s world the development of our surface transportation system must take a multi-modal (Pedestrian, Bicycle, Transit, etc.) approach in delivering a balance between “Livability and Mobility” in urban settings.

Our complex highway expertise includes the development of limited access and expressway facilities in both rural and urban settings. We have worked with the Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Turnpike Enterprise and the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority in meeting their transportation needs.
