The project involved preparation of a route study, environmental evaluation, widening of a major rural arterial intersection and development of drainage
ponds within a closed drainage basin. Alternatives were evaluated to minimize impacts to existing industrial and commercial landowners and residents. Improvements
were also made on Chancey Road, adding turn lanes and improving drainage. Right-of-way plans were prepared for the project. American's staff also conducted a public information meeting.
