American/Avalon prepared design-build plans for the construction of permanent repair work from Barracks St. to East Chase St. The project includes construction of areas of rip rap and gabion baskets to protect the roadway from eroding away during storm events. The gabion baskets were covered with beach sand and replanted with sea oats and other vegetation.
