This project included reconstruction and widening of a four-lane divided and five-lane undivided roadway to a eight-lane divided roadway. The project included signalization, signing and pavement marking, lighting, landscaping, and a complete drainage system with retention ponds. Joint use ponds were developed with the Village of Royal Palm Beach. Off-site remote ponds were also used to minimize land costs. A permit was obtained from South Florida Water Management District.
