American/Avalon provided design for as part of this design-build project for milling, widening, and resurfacing approximately 2 miles of SR 52. The roadway pavement was widened from 20 feet to 24 feet and a 5 foot paved shoulder was added in both directions for the length of the project. A new left turn lane was added at the Juvenile Justice Center and cross drains were extended beyond the traveling clear zone. Work also included signing and pavement marking improvements.
