American/Avalon has been selected by the Pinellas County Public Works Department for a multi-year contract to provide multidiscipline engineering services on projects which could include roadways, sidewalks, drainage, permitting activities, structural designs, construction consultation, signal design, engineering evaluations and engineering presentations.

American/Avalon is perfectly suited for this contract since we provide all of the requested services in-house and have been performing successfully for a multitude of public clients for many years. Over the past 5 years, American/Avalon has completed over 75 transportation design and planning contracts within the Counties of Pasco, Hernando, Hillsborough, Charlotte, Collier, Palm Beach and St. Lucie as well as the Cities of Safety Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Naples, Punta Gorda and others. American/Avalon provides services to FDOT in Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and Florida’s Turnpike. Historically, American/Avalon’s workload has been divided equally between County/City and FDOT services. Over 98% of our work is for public clients.
