City of Safety Harbor: Downtown Mobility Study Phase I, II, and III

American/Avalon performed a circulation and mobility study for the City of Safety Harbor. Phase I identified real vs. perceived transportation issues (vehicular and pedestrian circulation, pedestrian safety, speeding, parking, cut-through traffic, and intersection congestion) that affect the mobility of vehicles and people within the downtown area of Safety Harbor. Phase II included the development of a set of implementation strategies that addressed the issues. Finally, a set of priority ranking were developed to implement the strategies. Phase III included an extensive public involvement program including two City Commission workshops and a Public Workshop
