American/Avalon prepared a study and report documenting alternatives including typical sections, alignments and stormwater ponds for adding paved shoulders and turning lanes, and milling and resurfacing pavement on Shady Hills Road from S.R. 52 to the County Line for a distance of 6 miles. The pond study investigation included environmental and drainage concerns. The study included a traffic study and concepts for realigning the intersection at S.R. 52. American/Avalon was responsible for roadway, drainage and traffic data collection, proposed alignment and pond analysis, and public involvement.
