FDOT District 7:
Corridor and Subarea Special Studies

Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties, Florida

American was selected to provide on-call consultant services for District 7. This contract included the following major tasks: miscellaneous corridor and sub area planning, special transportation studies, development impacts on the state highway system and general transportation planning support.

The following tasks have been completed to date:

• Combining the Pasco and Hernando County Capital Improvement Program with the five-year FDOT work program and generating a map by county
• Year 2006 Socio-economic data conversion from the new Traffic Analysis Zone (TAZ) structure to old TAZ structure
• Geographic Information System (GIS) socio-economic data reviews
• Socio-economic data reviews for the years 2006, 2035 and 2050
• Updating the Federal Aid System maps and tables
