American’s landscape architecture staff provided site design assistance and completion of construction plans for this park on the Gulf of Mexico near Keaton Beach, Florida. The project required close coordination with Taylor County staff to provide plans for parking area improvements, stormwater management, playground area, lighting and shelters near the water with custom built-in benches detailed. Our landscape architect continued services during the bidding of the project and provided assistance to the selected contractor. The project was successfully completed prior to the grant deadline of April 2007. Taylor County is pleased with the performance of the stormwater design that has ultimately increased the Park usage.
