The study was an update of the 20-year Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), included developing future socio-economic data for the year 2030. We created an existing plus committed (E + C) network, year 2030 “needs” and “cost-feasible” plans and the synthesis of interim Cost Feasible Plans for 2010, and 2020. The project addressed all travel modes including vehicular (passenger and freight), pedestrian, bicycle and public transit. Financial revenue resource, project cost estimates, public involvement and project phasing tasks were completed under this project. Individual elements of the study included travel demand modeling, existing conditions assessment, financial revenue resources, project cost estimates and a detail public involvement plan. A steering committee was created and input was received from the Technical and Citizen Advisory Committees. This plan was adopted by the MPO.
