SR 87, Resurfacing, Restoration & Rehabilitation:
SR 87, north of SR 4 to Alabama State Line

Santa Rosa County, Florida

This project consisted of milling and resurfacing the existing travel lanes and paved shoulders. Additional items included reviewing and correcting non-compliant cross slopes. The intersection with CR 87A was improved to include appropriate clear zone clearances for the ditch slopes. The angle of intersection of SR 87 with Ellis Road was also reviewed and adjusted to remove the skew. Minor drainage improvements included replacing side drains in poor condition and adding a junction box.
